Lemy is a highly-skilled school counselor with over five years of experience working in the local school system. He is committed to collaborating with individuals to strategize, readjust and seek growth from recent experiences mutually. Working with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, Lemy advocates and promotes mental health awareness in the community. His goal is to approach and match interventions to each individual client according to their needs, honoring each person's story with positive regard, unconditional respect, and professionalism. He empowers individuals and families with the tools and strategies to seek growth and healing for a life worth living.
His areas of interest include families, couples, individuals, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma resolution therapies, attachment-oriented therapy, addiction, socio-emotional and cultural concerns, and other mental health and relationship needs.
Lemy is committed to continued professional growth through continuing his education by completing his post-masters certificates in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Relationship and Family Counseling. This is in addition to his Master’s Degree in School Counseling. He also strives to be at the forefront of his profession through his memberships with the American Mental Health Counselor’s Association (AMHCA) and the American School Counselor Association (ASCA).
Being client-centered means that Lemy strives to create a safe, positive, and welcoming atmosphere to promote growth and achieve shared goals. He utilizes a variety of approaches, including solution-focused, strength-based, and person-centered approaches.
