Jilian Sansone

LMHC

Jilian is a passionate licensed mental health counselor specializing in trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy. To Jilian, therapy is a process in which black or white thinking is set aside in favor of exploring everything in between, allowing the client to determine which patterns and beliefs serve them and which can be let go.

Jilian has a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University and she is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and the Gottman Method.

She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families - identifying each person’s unique resilience. Jilian takes pride in providing her clients with empathy, creativity, cultural sensitivity, and ethical practice.

While Jilian brings her knowledge of intergenerational trauma, the brain-body connection, and family systems, she knows her clients also hold power as the experts of their own experience.
